CLIP is an international opera singing competition dedicated to discovering and supporting young talent.

Founded in 2015, in just a few short years CLIP has attracted singers from over 70 different nations to this beautiful Ligurian village, becoming a benchmark in the international opera market.

Thanks to a jury composed exclusively of General Managers and Artistic Directors from Europe’s leading opera houses, CLIP represents a concrete and highly effective bridge between the competition and the professional world. All CLIP winners and finalists go on to forge brilliant careers, carrying in their hearts the experience of a competition where quality, professionalism, a welcoming atmosphere, pragmatism, beauty, and respect for the singer are the defining traits.
